Charles Crawford has had many years of diplomatic experience in dealing with and negotiating over - at a high level and in strict confidence - a wide range of difficult and sensitive problems, often in challenging circumstances: South Africa as the apartheid period ended, post-communist Russia, post-conflict Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia/Montenegro/Kosovo after the fall of Milosevic.
More recently as HM Ambassador in Warsaw he led the British diplomatic effort in Poland as Poland joined the European Union in 2004 and then played a significant role in British negotiations with Poland on the EU Budget and the EU 'Constitutional treaty'.
While leaving the Foreign Office and the diplomatic world he decided to turn this unique expertise to a new use, qualifying in late 2007 as a professional Mediator with both the ADR Group (http://www.adrgroup.co.uk/) and the Regent’s College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology (http://www.spc.ac.uk/) in London.
He is now a member of the Panel of ADR Net Mediators as well as an SPCP Accredited Mediator.
Charles Crawford offers a distinguished and discreet mediation service for serious problems which call for a speedy and satisfactory resolution; he aims for a light-touch, subtle and creatively 'diplomatic' mediation approach.
He will be happy to discuss with no obligation how this might best work in individual cases. To take this forward and to obtain terms and options for using this service, please contact him directly: mail@charlescrawford.biz
