With so many awful things happening in the world, why o why do UK sports commentators have to add to our woe by their utter inability to pronounce the simple name of the Polish goal-keeper playing for Arsenal?

It's a well known fact that (nearly) all English speakers live in a tight Anglophone bubble and are not willing to learn how to pronounce foreign words or names. This is especially ridiculous with names of sports stars.
And this is not limited to Polish words !

Too easy to be critical but think. "We" did not choose that English became the most popular international language.
"You" only had the one choice, do we have to choose say fifty as a conservative estimate?
Teams of all competitors should automatically provide such information or make it freely available when traveling abroad.
