Yet what is impossible in statistics is more than possible in the real-life atmosphere of collectivist US social psychology (sic).

Dr. Haidt argued that social psychologists are a “tribal-moral community” united by “sacred values” that hinder research and damage their credibility — and blind them to the hostile climate they’ve created for non-liberals.

All fine except of course that last bit. The creation of the climate hostile to non-liberals is a feature, not a bug.

These social psychologists are not ‘blind’ to that. They’re deliberately ignoring it in the hope everyone else won’t notice.
