I like the Nuance Dragon Voice Recognition software.

But whereas the PC version via Nuance costs £59.99 via their own site, the iMac version costs £179.99.

So I asked Nuance about this gruesome price difference for different systems, and got this ludicrous reply:

Nuance has no influence on prices of Nuance software products offered by retailers or other 3rd party websites . In return, retailers are not informed about special offers available directly on the official Nuance website.

Why offer a customer service scheme which isn’t?
